Walking Along Crookston

Artists for the New Century

DATES: June 9 - July 14, 2012
An impressive group of the country's newest talent will be on view at the Center beginning in June. Southwest Art, American Art Collector and Fine Art Connoisseur have each nominated artists to be included in the show and the artists will be including one piece each that they feel best represents their work. This will be a wonderful opportunity to become familiar with and purchase art by some of the best new talent on the representational art scene.

Beecham Swans

Art of the Animal Kingdom XVII

DATES: June 16 - August 5, 2012
One of the country's most prestigious wildlife exhibitions opens on June 16 and will run through early August. This year's Special Guest Artist is Greg Beecham . Over 65 pieces will be included in this impressive exhibition and all work will be for sale.

Impressions of New England

This annual exhibition will include over 60 scenes captured in paint and bronze. Seashores, rolling hills, foliage and New England wildlife will be depicted in over seventy fine works of art.

California Art Club - Saving Paradise: The Symbiosis of Landscape Painting & Environmental Awareness

DATES: July 21 - September 23, 2012
The California Art Club will be exhibiting a show this spring at the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery at Barnsdall Park after which the paintings by the Signature Artists will be sent on to a special exhibition at The Bennington Center for the Arts. This exhibition will document the many preservation efforts CAC artists are involved with and will celebrate the love that artists have for the land and their desire to share its beauty with the rest of society.

The Laumeister Fine Art Competition

DATES: August 11 - September 23, 2012
Artists from around the country and the world are invited to submit work to be included in our fourth annual fine art competition, this year juried by Scott Christensen. $7,000 in awards will be given and the representational artwork will be on view and for sale at the Center through the fall.

Oil Painter of American Eastern Regional Exhibition

DATES: September 29 - October 27, 2012
The Bennington Center for the Arts is very proud to host the 2012 Eastern Regional Exhibition for this prestigious group. Up to 120 pieces will be on view and for sale this fall. The National Exhibition will be held at The Bennington in 2014.
